Explore the power of storytelling as award-winning author, poet, playwright and Children’s Laureate 2022-2024 Joseph Coelho sparks the imagination in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Part of our family event series Telling Tales.
Joseph will take you on an exciting journey through his career and share the inspiration behind his most-loved stories. You’ll also work together to help Joseph create new poems, and have an opportunity to ask your questions in a Q&A.
A writer for all ages, Joseph’s books for older children include winner of the Carnegie Medal for Writing The Boy Lost in the Maze and adventure series Relic Hamilton, Genie Hunter. His books for younger children include picture books Children of the Throne and the Luna Loves series.

A ticket is required for everyone attending over 3 years. Under 3s do not require a ticket if they do not require their own seat. Child and adult tickets are the same price. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
