Join writer Kaz Penny and illustrator Sammy Elgie for an unexpected, fun-packed take on Shakespeare and his stories. Part of our family event series Telling Tales.
Travel back in time to the 1570s when Shakespeare was a boy. Young Will is convinced he’s a genius – but instead of writing, he’s solving mysteries. Mysteries which have some strange similarities to the plays he’ll write later in his life…
Kaz and Sammy will share their journeys as a writer and illustrator, you’ll create your own Will Shakespeare mystery, and draw different characters from their books.
You’ll have an opportunity to ask Kaz and Sammy your questions in a Q&A. There will also be an opportunity to purchase books and have yours signed after the event.

A ticket is required for everyone attending over 3 years. Under 3s do not require a ticket if they do not require their own seat. Child and adult tickets are the same price. All children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
