Travel through history, geography and beyond as one of the UK’s best-loved children’s authors Michael Rosen takes us on a journey of storytelling, poetry and imagination in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Part of our family event series Telling Tales.
In celebration of his extensive range of books and recent poetry collection, Out of This World, poet, performer, broadcaster, scriptwriter, and former Children’s Laureate, Michael returns to the Playhouse for a look through his career, and the stories behind some of his beloved books including Burping Bertha, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, Macbeth United, the I Am series, and a retelling of Aesop’s Fables.
You’ll also have the chance to ask Michael your questions in a Q&A session.
