This summer both the RSC and the Globe have programmed plays by Bertolt Brecht. A first for the Globe and the first time in over ten years for The RSC. Join Co-Artistic Director of the RSC Daniel Evans, the Globe’s Artistic Director Michelle Terry, and Associate Artistic Director Sean Holmes to better understand why they have programmed Brecht now and why in these theatres. What do these plays have to say to the world today and what is the relationship between Shakespeare and Brecht?
The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui runs in the Swan Theatre from 11 April to 30 May. Mother Courage and her Children runs in the Globe from 7 May to 27 June.
