Synopsis

Shakespeare’s Globe’s Touring Ensemble present a trio of plays exploring the themes of refuge and displacement, performed as a touring production would have been staged in the 17th century, with a stripped back set and a small, versatile troupe of actors. Taking on multiple roles across all three plays, our talented international cast will unravel these timeless tales of those who have crossed seas and lost their families, are seeking new homes, and finding out what belonging truly means to them.

Our Touring Ensemble are taking The Comedy of ErrorsPericles and Twelfth Night on a national and international tour.

Please see details of each touring venue on the right hand side of this page.

At certain venues, we will be offering audiences the chance to vote for the play they want to see in our exhilarating Audience Choice performances where audiences will be able to cheer for which play out of the three they would like to see.

At the Globe

The Touring Ensemble will also perform The Comedy of ErrorsPericles ,Twelfth Night and Audience Choice at the Globe Theatre at various points in the season, including during Refugee Week in June.
