Twelfth Night Family Storytelling
Step into a world of disguise, mischief and mistaken identities in this Family Storytelling performance of Twelfth Night, Shakespeare’s whirlwind comedy of love and confusion.
When Viola is shipwrecked and separated from her twin brother, she disguises herself as a young man to survive. But things get complicated when she falls in love with Duke Orsino — who is in love with Countess Olivia — who, in turn, falls for Viola in disguise! And just when things seem chaotic enough, Sebastian, Viola’s twin, shows up…
This enchanting tale of love triangles, disguises and joyful chaos is brought to life by our highly skilled Globe practitioners who include actors, teachers and directors.
‘If this were played upon a stage now, I could condemn it as an improbable fiction.’
– Act III, Scene 4
