A product of the internally renowned El Sistema programme, this young world-class quartet is comprised of the section leaders in Venezuela’s famed Simon Bolívar Symphony Orchestra.

Led by Gustavo Dudamel – the most sought-after conductor in classical music - the orchestra tours as the centrepiece of El Sistema’s remarkable array of hundreds of youth orchestras and chamber music ensembles, a success story that is being replicated in countries throughout the world.

Some of the Quartet’s highlights include concerts at the Edinburgh International Festival, the Southbank Centre, major chamber concert venues in Canada and Japan, the Salzburg Festival and the Berlin Philharmonic.

Featuring music from Venezuela alongside fresh interpretations from the heart of the quartet repertoire, this vibrant foursome will lead a concert for one night only in the candlelit Playhouse, which will offer an intimate setting for their music unlike any other.
