Synopsis

In this dark tale, the Bard’s most famous heroes embark upon a journey to discover a long-lost soul…

Hamlet, Juliet, Othello, Falstaff, Romeo and Puck search for a reclusive wizard who may be able to assist them in their battle against the evil forces led by villains Richard III, Lady Macbeth and Iago.

And who could that reclusive wizard be? Why not join us to find out!

Combining live performance, music and fantastical imagery from the comic book series, Kill Shakespeare: The Dramatic Reading brings to life an epic adventure that might just change the way you look at Shakespeare forever.

Background

Re-envisioning of the greatest characters of all-time, with action, romance, comedy, lust, drama and bloody violence, it’s an adventure of Shakespearean proportions.

Co‐created and co‐written by Conor McCreery and Anthony Del Col, with art by Andy Belanger, the comic book series Kill Shakespeare has been nominated for both Harvey and Joe Shuster Awards and received glowing profiles by the New York Times, Washington Post, BBC, NPR and CBC. It has created a legion of new Shakespeare fans in this quest that crosses Game of Thrones with Shakespeare in Love.

Suitable for ages 14+
