Shakespeare's Telling Tales
27 – 30 July 2018, Times Vary
Various Venues Across Shakespeare's Globe Site
Celebrate the joy of storytelling at Shakespeare’s Telling Tales, our lively family festival. Now in its third year, the festival brings together children’s authors, performers and storytellers to celebrate the power of storytelling and that amazing thing we call ‘our imagination’. Over the weekend, families can take part in creative and practical workshops, help our storytellers bring Shakespeare’s plays to life in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse and take part in Q&As with leading children’s authors. Festival-goers can also explore Bottom’s Book Market, a multisensory space, with pop up performances and a reading forest. It’s a wonderful place to share a tale or two.
Suitable for all ages.
