What sort of things might you find in a poet’s beard?
Well, for a start, there may well be poems, there may be jokes, there may be imagination and there may be food. Welcome to the world of A.F. Harrold, poet, performer and children’s author as he shares with you the weird things that pop up in his brain.
Laugh as he says words. Delight as he steals your brilliant ideas. Marvel as he dances. Join in with poems and don’t join in with poems. Basically he’s just going to say a bunch of poems and your ears will funnel them into your brain and electricity will allow you to understand them and, possibly, enjoy them.
That’s it. Poems.
Well almost…the marvellous Chris Riddell will also be joining A.F. Harrold and live illustrating the event! Poetry, illustration and beards here we come!
Suitable for ages 7+
