No mics. No sounds design. No safety net. It’s time to use your voice on the Globe stage.

Shakespeare’s language was written to be spoken: it’s full of imagery, rhythm, and rhetoric. This course asks you to dive in and engage with the words and sounds Shakespeare gives us.

Working with the Globe’s Voice Faculty, you will explore how the text functions, how it builds thought, and how to carry meaning and intention so it lands with an audience. Participants will explore and develop breath and support, articulation, and vocal range, finding ease and presence in a space that demands clarity and reach without technical support.

For professional actors who want to develop a voice that can carry in any theatre, without amplification. Step on stage. Command the space. Be heard.
